Sparsholt College and the Chelsea Flower Show 2010
- We are extremley excited to have been awarded the Silver Gilt Lindley medal for our entry called 21st Centry Hedges. Click here for list of awards for the Continuous Learning section
- This year was unusual in that computers were added to bring an interactive IT learning element to the garden. Five Dell Inspiron One touch screen all-in-one PCs were arranged above a Yew Hedge. They ran a PowerPoint application that enabled visitors to find out more about some of the key plants used in the garden. Reports from Chris Bird are that comments and reactions to the PCs by visitors and the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) have been very favourable indeed.
